Formosa Park is the second vest pocket park in the City of West Hollywood, and is the culmination of an innovative strategy to increase open space in a dense setting.
Built over a private parking garage, the park was designed as a lush and colorful tribute to the people and dramatic architecture of the West Hollywood community.
The resulting design form was derived from the shape and colour of deciduous leaves in the fall, and incorporates diverse program needs.
