Pico Boulevard

The Pico Boulevard Streetscape Improvements strengthened the boulevard's qualities as an accesible and viable neighborhood street, while improving its visual appearence.
The design replaced existing street trees, installed a median and used historical text to mark the bus stops. Dramatic pedestrian lights, custom designed and fabricated for the project, reference the trees and line the street throuought its length in the city.
